About the project
"Después de la niebla" or "beyond the mist" may seem like a movie about death, and rather it is about life. It's about duels and how they affect us.
Addressing the issue of mourning and in this case of mourning not worked or healed, gives us a perspective of different real approaches and ways of dealing with it, of stages of it and how in the same family nucleus it is faced differently.
The fog alludes to how lost David is inside himself and how those feelings are reflected in the environment and the weather, we will use visual resources with the different states of water to convey the emotional journey of our character, using a natural banquet that it is our Constanza valley, selling this northern area as part of the ecological tourism of our country.

Project in development - Synopsis
David, who is part of a family struck by death and silently suffering from the loss of his grandmother, receives a visit from some friends from abroad who keep him busy. The memories that surround him and the family pressure unleash an emotional crisis in David that makes him travel an unknown path to the depths of the forest and his memory, where he realizes that the fight is with himself and that he must face his greatest pain: the duel of the death of his grandmother.
Director’s note
BEYOND THE MIST, there is a well-known saying that after the storm comes calm, what comes after the mist? we could say that clarity. This film talks about the fog in which we can be submerged metaphorically in cloudy thoughts and emotions in moments of crisis or internal desolation. It is a psychological drama that is accompanied by the fog that covers our Constanza valley, dancing an emotional waltz between the tranquility of the place and the internal fog of the unknown or denied, in this case the loss of someone very dear and a duel not worked or healed.
We will use the weather and the different states of the water to give force to the emotions and feelings of our main character throughout the entire plot. Therefore, although we will work mostly with earth tones, in these specific moments we will also use blue.
