AUDIOVISUAL PROJECTS
Cronos Films & Productions S.R.L. is an emerging Dominican production company that aims to convey a sensory experience through the screen in its projects, without shying aways from the social and political struggles of Dominican society.
This essence is reflected in our initial project Beyond The Mist, where we connect with the deepest aspects of being through the senses and nature, and in Negro’s theme of resistance through the nurture of life.
This first feature film in development was the winner of the FONPROCINE 2021 competition in the Project Development category by DGCINE and IBERMEDIA Development Fund.
Beyond the mist
David, who is part of a family struck by death and silently suffering from the loss of his grandmother, receives a visit from some friends from abroad who keep him busy. The memories that surround him and the family pressure unleash an emotional crisis in David that makes him travel an unknown path to the depths of the forest and his memory, where he realizes that the fight is with himself and that he must face his greatest pain. : the duel of the death of his grandmother.
